LNA Cares
A new program from your Lansdowne Neighborhood Association aimed at providing neighbor-to- neighbor outreach for seniors or anyone needing a neighborly helping hand.
The LNA Cares program is reaching out to Lansdowne Neighborhood residents that would be interested in receiving assistance from your neighbors with things like:
• basic yardwork like raking or clearing snow and ice
• rolling garbage cans in and out
• providing help during power outages or bad weather
• running errands to pick up essentials like medicine
• helping set up notification systems for emergency care
• checking smoke detectors and changing light bulbs
• or simply just to check in and say, “Hi”
VOLUNTEERS are needed also! Neighbors in Lansdowne are often helping each other out. Contact LNA Cares to find out if a neighbor near you can use a helping hand. This is a great opportunity for teens to gain their community service hours!
